Nalini Jones is the author of a story collection, What You Call Winter (Knopf, 2007), and other short fiction and essays (inOne Story, Ninth Letter, and Elle India, among others). She is a recent recipient of an O. Henry Prize, a Pushcart Prize, and a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, and is currently at work on a novel.
