Tim Nolan lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Kate, and three teenagers, Elizabeth, Maeve, and Frank. Tim works as a lawyer at the McGrann Shea law firm in Minneapolis. His poems have appeared in many publications and venues, including The Gettysburg Review, The Nation, New Republic, Ploughshares, and on The Writer’s Almanac and American Life in Poetry. His first book, The Sound of It, was published in 2008 by New Rivers Press and was a finalist for the Minnesota Book Award. His new book, And Then, was published by New Rivers Press in October 2012.
