Vicki Feaver lives in Scotland on the edge of the Pentland Hills. The poems in her last two collections, The Handless Maiden (Jonathan Cape, 1994) and The Book of Blood (Jonathan Cape, 2006) often combine fairytale or myth with contemporary experience. She is currently completing a collection focusing on childhood and old age.
