Jacob Sam-La Rose is the author of Breaking Silence (Bloodaxe, 2011) and Communion (Flipped Eye, 2006). He leads the Spoken Word Education Programme at Goldsmiths, and is the founder of BAR—a youth poetry initiative with branches in England and Singapore. He lives in London, England.
