Daniel Peña is a Pushcart Prize-winning writer and the author of Bang: A Novel (Arte Publico Press, 2018). His work has been featured in the New York Times Magazine, the Guardian, LitHub, and NBC News, among other outlets. Previously, he was a Picador Guest Professor for Literature in the American studies program at the Universität Leipzig in Leipzig, Germany, and a Fulbright-García Robles Scholar at the Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. He lives and teaches in Houston, TX.
