Belle Boggs is the author of The Art of Waiting: On Fertility, Medicine, and Motherhood (Graywolf, 2016) and Mattaponi Queen (Graywolf, 2010), a collection of linked stories set along Viriginia's Mattaponi River. Her first novel, The Gulf, will be published in April 2019 by Graywolf Press. She teaches in the MFA program at North Carolina State University, and her work has been supported by fellowships from the NEA, the North Carolina Arts Council, and the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers' Conferences.
