Marc Vassallo received a degree in architecture from Cornell University and worked as an architect, a farmer, and an editor before completing an M.F.A. in fiction at the University of Virginia. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Linda, and their two-year-old son, Nicholas. A story of his appeared recently in Southern Exposure, and he is at work on a novel called Adam's Garden.
