GORDON WEAVER chairs the English department at Oklahoma State University. His third collection of stories, Morality Play: Fictions will be published by Seagull Publications in 1979. Other stories are forthcoming in The Southern Review, Iowa Review, and Antioch Review, and "Getting Serious" (Sewanee Review, fall '77) has won first prize in the O. Henry Awards 1979.
