WILLIAM PEDEN is a novelist (Twilight At Monticello), short story writer (Night in Funland), editor, and critic, who teaches at the University of Missouri at Columbia. Former Director of the University of Missouri Press and editor of their Breakthrough series, he is co-fiction editor of the newly founded Missouri Review.
