Louis Berney was born and reared in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma. His fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, New England Review and Bread Loaf Quarterly, Story, and The Antioch Review. His first book, a collection of stories, will be published next spring by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich.
