Jeff Hoffman's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The New Republic, Indiana Review, Ploughshares, New Orleans Review, Field, and Spinning Jenny. From 2004 to 2006, he was a Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford University. His plays have been published by Vintage (in the collection Under 30: Plays for a New Generation) and Samuel French (in the collection Festival Plays #23). From 2000 to 2004, he was a James A. Michener Fellow at the University of Texas where he received his MFA in playwriting and poetry. In 2002, he was awarded a Chesterfield Screenwriting Fellowship, under the aegis of Paramount Pictures.
