Christie Hodgen is the author of three books of fiction, most recently Elegies for the Brokenhearted (W. W. Norton & Company, 2011). Her awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, an NEA Grant, and two Pushcart Prizes. She lives in Kansas City.
