Roy Jacobstein's newest poetry collection is Fuchsia in Cambodia. His previous books, A Form of Optimism and Ripe won the 2006 Morse Prize and 2002 Pollak Prize respectively. A Fellow of the North Carolina Council for the Arts, he is a physician who works in Africa and Asia on women's reproductive health.
