Cathy Smith Bowers' poems have appeared widely in publications, such as The Atlantic Monthly, The Georgia Review, and Poetry. Her four books include The Candle I Hold Up to See You (Iris Press, 2009). She teaches in the Queens University of Charlotte low-residency mfa program and at Wofford College.
