Philip White's poems have won a Pushcart Prize and have a recently appeared or are forthcoming in Agni, The New Republic, The Journal, Southwest Review, Hudson Review, Shenandoah, and elsewhere. His book The Clearing came out in 2007. He teaches Shakespeare at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
