Maia Evrona is the recipient of a Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize and, in addition to poetry, she is currently writing a memoir on growing up with a chronic illness. Her poems, as well as her translations of Yiddish poetry, have appeared or are forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, The Massachusetts Review, and The 2011 Montreal International Poetry Prize Longlist Anthology.
