PHILIP DAMON has been on leave from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. "Walt Disney Presents" is from a collection called Growing Up in No Time now making the rounds; he has also recently completed a novel called Life Begins at Midnight. His stories have appeared in Ploughshares (4/4), Antaeus, Iowa Review, Best American Short Stories, and elsewhere.
