Poet and photographer Thomas Sayers Ellis is the author of The Maverick Room and Skin, Inc.: Identity Repair Poems. Poems have recently appeared in The Paris Review, Poetry, Tin House and the Best American Poetry 2015. Last year, he was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, and Heroes Are Gang Leaders, the band of poets and musicians he co-founded, released The Avant-Age Garde I AMs of the Gal Luxury. TSE is currently a Visiting Writer at The Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
