Ian Ganassi's poetry has appeared in numerous literary magazines, including The Yale Review, The Paris Review, Verse, New American Writing and Denver Quarterly, among many others. His translations from Virgil's Aeneid have appeared in New England Review. He has given numerous public readings of his work in the New York Metropolitan area and has worked collaboratively with dancers and visual artists in the area. He lives in New Haven, Connecticut where he writes and also works as a Latin percussionist.
