Reginald Gibbons has published fourteen books of poems and translations of poetry (from Spanish [Luis Cernuda; J. Guillen] and ancient Greek [Sophocles]). His novel, Sweetbitter (Anisfield-Wolf Book Award), has been reissued by JackLeg Press (2023). Forthcoming poetry books are Three Poems (Finishing Line Press, 2024) and Young Woman With a Cane (LSU Press, 2025). He was the editor of TriQuarterly Magazine from 1981 to 1997 and is a cofounder of two literary organizations in Chicago—The Guild Complex and The American Writers Museum.
