Stratis Haviaras was the author of four books of poetry in Greek, and two collections of poems and two novels in English. He received his MFA from Goddard College and was the Founding Editor of the Harvard Review. Haviaras worked for thirty years as the curator of the Poetry and Farnsworth Rooms in the Harvard College Library.
