William Heyen is Professor of English and Poet-in-Residence at SUNY College at Brockport. In 1991 and 1992 a new publisher, Timeless Press, located in Missouri, will publish his Pterodactyl Rose: Poems of Ecology, The Host: Selected Poems 1965-90, and The Green Gate: Essays on Poetry and Ecology.
