Jane Hirshfield
Jane Hirshfield
Jane Hirshfield is a former chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, founder of Poets for Science, and a 2019 elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her most recent, ninth book of poems is Ledger (Knopf, 2020). Her work, translated into fifteen languages, appears in the New Yorker, the New York Times, the Guardian, the Times Literary Supplement, the Irish Times, and ten editions of The Best American Poetry.
