Amanda Holmes

Amanda Holmes was born in England and educated at Emerson College and George Mason University. Her stories have appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, Foreign Service Journal, Moxie, Phoebe, Ploughshares, QWF, Rattapallax, So to Speak, Tales from a Small Planet, Woman Abroad, and as a finalist in the BBC World Service Fiction competition 2000. She has edited two books The Jane Austen Sampler and The Henry James Sampler, both by Kensington, and written art and museum listings for The New Yorker. She is currently working on a novel.
