David Huddle holds the 2012-2013 Roy Acuff Chair of Excellence in the Creative Arts at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. He’s the author of six volumes of short fiction, seven collections of poetry, four novels, and a book of essays on writing. Recent titles are Nothing Can Make Me Do This (Tupelo Press, 2011) and Blacksnake at the Family Reunion (Louisiana State University Press, 2012). He teaches at the Bread Loaf School of English and the Rainier Writing Workshop.
