JOSEPH HURKA is the author of the memoir Fields of Light: A Son Remembers His Heroic Father (Wild Creek Press, 2013), a winner of the Pushcart Editors' Book Award. His short fiction was most recently collected in Graceful Lies: Twelve Stories (Wild Creek Press), published in 2015, and he is at work on a new collection of short stories and a memoir. He lives in southern New Hampshire and teaches writing at Tufts University, in Medford, Mass.
