Josephine Jacobsen's most recent book of poems, In the Crevice of Time: New and Collected Poems (Johns Hopkins), was a finalist for the National Book Award in 1995. Her occasional prose, The Instant of Knowing, was published by Michigan in 1997. She lives in Baltimore and received the Robert Frost Medal from the Poetry Society of America in 1998.
