Aldo Amparán is a queer poet born and raised in the sister cities of El Paso, Tex., US, & Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. He is the author of Brother Sleep (Alice James Books, 2022), winner of the 2020 Alice James Award. A CantoMundo Fellow, his work appears in AGNI, Best New Poets, Kenyon Review Online, Ninth Letter, and elsewhere.
