Anya Silver has published four books of poetry. Her work has recently appeared or is forthcoming in The Georgia Review, The Hudson Review, Antioch Review, The Missouri Review, and AGNI. In 2018 she received a Guggenheim Fellowship in Poetry. The poem in this issue is from Saint Agnostica, which is forthcoming in the fall of 2021 from LSU Press. Silver completed the manuscript just before she died in August 2018 of metastatic breast cancer.
