Ciara Shuttleworth was born in San Francisco. Her poetry has been published in Alaska Quarterly Review, Confrontation, The New Yorker, The Norton Introduction to Literature, 11e, and The Southern Review. She was a 2014 Jerome Foundation Fellow at the Anderson Center at Tower View and is currently in residence at the Kerouac House.
