Connor Watkins-Xu holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland and a BA from Baylor University. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Ploughshares, North American Review, Gargoyle, Door = Jar, Hawaii Pacific Review, MAYDAY, storySouth,and elsewhere. His manuscript has been named a semifinalist for the Berkshire Prize and The Brittingham and Felix Pollak Prizes in Poetry. Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, he lives with his wife in Seattle.
