Gabriel Louis has an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He has received support from the Callaloo Creative Writing Workshops, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Ragdale, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. He was a Carol Houck Smith Fiction Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and a Fiction Fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center. His work has appeared in Subtropics and the Kenyon Review.
