Iain Galbraith’s recent publications include a volume of poems, The True Height of the Ear (Arc Publications, 2018), as well as translations of Esther Kinsky’s prose work River (Fitzcarraldo Editions, 2018), Esther Dischereit’s Sometimes a Single Leaf (Arc Publications, 2020), and Reinhard Jirgl’s novel The Unfinished (Seagull Books, 2020). He has received the Stephen Spender Prize (2014), the Popescu European Poetry Translation Prize (2015) and the Schlegel-Tieck Prize (2016 and 2019). Born in Scotland, he lives in Wiesbaden, Germany.
