John Fulton has published three books of fiction: Retribution (Picador, 2001), which won the Southern Review Fiction Prize; the novel More Than Enough (Picador, 2002); and The Animal Girl (LSU Press, 2007), which was long listed for the Story Prize. His fiction has been awarded the Pushcart Prize and has been published in Zoetrope, Oxford American, the Southern Review, and the Missouri Review, among other journals. His new collection, The Flounder, will appear in the spring of 2023. He directs the MFA Program at University of Massachusetts Boston.
