Jon Stallworthy has published seven books of poetry, most recently The Anzac Sonata: New and Selected Poems (W.W. Norton, 1987); two critical studies of Yeats's poetry; and a prize-winning biography of Wilfred Owen (Oxford, 1974). He teaches at Oxford University and is a Fellow of the British Academy.
