Madelin Parsley grew up in the panhandle of Nebraska, and now lives in Ann Arbor, Mich. She is the recipient of fellowships and awards from Vanderbilt University, the New York State Summer Writers Conference, and Amherst College. Her work has previously appeared in Narrative Magazine.
