Ryan Berg, a graduate of the New School, holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Hunter College. His work has appeared in Ploughshares and The Sun. He has also written for the indie rock group We Are Augustines. He has been awarded artist residencies from The MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. A 2010 Lambda Literary Foundation Emerging Writers Fellow, he also received a 2011 Nonfiction Literature Fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts. In 2009 he was a featured writer in NYC's Hot Festival at Dixon Place.
