Sue Standing's poems have appeared in many journals, including Agni, APR, The American Scholar, The Atlantic Monthly, The Nation, and Southwest Review. Her most recent poetry collection is False Horizon (Four Way Books, 2003). The recipient of grants from the NEA and the Bunting Institute, she teaches creative writing and African literature at Wheaton College, where she directs the creative writing program.
