X. J. Kennedy has had verse lately in The Hudson Review and The Sewanee Review. Two new children's books, Elefantina's Dream (Philomel) and Exploding Gravy (Little, Brown), are forthcoming. The X. J. Kennedy Poetry Prize, which includes book publication by Texas Review Press, is now in its fourth year.
