Christina Hutchins’s poetry book, Tender the Maker won the May Swenson Award (Utah State University Press, 2015), and the Stranger Dissolves (Sixteen Rivers Press, 2011) was a Lambda Literary Award finalist. Poems appear in the Antioch Review, New Republic, Prairie Schooner, Salmagundi, the Southern Review, and Women’s Review of Books, and essays on Alfred North Whitehead, poetics, and gender appear in volumes by Ashgate Publishing, Columbia University Press, and SUNY Press. Awards include the Missouri Review Prize and the Dartmouth Poet in Residence at the Frost Place.
