Elsa Nekola is a writer based in Madison, Wisconsin. Her fiction has previously appeared in Midwestern Gothic (Honorable Mention: The Lake Prize). She is currently at work on a collection of short stories set in the Upper Midwest about women, isolation, and the environment.
