Emily Fox Gordon is the author of Mockingbird Years: A Life In and Out of Therapy (memoir) (Basic Books, 2001), Are You Happy? A Childhood Remembered (memoir) (Riverhead Books, 2007), It Will Come to Me (novel) (Spiegel & Grau, 2009), and, most recently, Book of Days: Personal Essays (Spiegel & Grau, 2010). Her work has twice been reprinted in Pushcart Prize anthologies and once in Best American Essays (2014). With the support of a 2014 Guggenheim fellowship, she has been working on a second personal essay collection, The View from Now.
