Eric Miller, author of Song of the Vulgar Starling (Broken Jaw, 1999), won an Academy of American Poets prize in 1996. He also appears in the anthologies New Canadian Poetry (Fitzhenry & Whiteside, 2000) and Dokumente aus Babel (Waxmann, 2001). His unpublished novel won an award in 1999.
