Federico García Lorca (1898–1936) is one of the most important Spanish poets and dramatists of the twentieth century. His works include Impresiones y Viajes; El maleficio de la mariposa; Libro de poemas, a compilation of poems based on Spanish folklore; and Romancero Gitano.
