Jessamyn Violet is a writer and musician based in Venice Beach, CA. Originally from Boston, MA, she graduated with a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. She went on to earn an MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts. She’s published a book of poetry called Organ Thieves (Gauss PDF, 2017), and her debut novel, Secret Rules to Being a Rockstar (Three Rooms Press, 2023) comes out April 18, 2023.
