Julie Funderburk has poems appearing in Blackbird, Smartish Pace, Best New Poets, The Cincinnati Review, roger: an art and literary magazine, The Greensboro Review, and 32 Poems. She has been a Howard Nemerov Scholar at the Sewanee Writers' Conference. A graduate of the MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro, she teaches at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina.
