Kate Bernheimer is author of the story collections How a Mother Weaned Her Girl from Fairy Tales (Coffee House Press, 2014) and Horse, Flower, Bird (Coffee House Press, 2010), and editor of four anthologies, including the World Fantasy Award-winning My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me: Forty New Fairy Tales (Penguin Books, 2010). With Laird Hunt, she coauthored the novella Office at Night (Coffee House Press and Walker Art Center, 2014); with Andrew Bernheimer, she coauthored the design book Fairy Tale Architecture (ORO Editions, 2020).
