Nancy Welch is a Professor of English at the University of Vermont. Her stories have appeared in Prairie Schooner, The Threepenny Review, and The Greensboro Review, among other journals, and her short-story collection, The Road from Prosperity, was published by Southern Methodist University Press in 2005.
