Nora Mitchell is the author of two collections of poems, Proofreading the Histories (1996) and Your Skin Is a Country (1988),both from Alice James Books. Her poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Calyx, College English, Hanging Loose, Radical America, and Sojourner, among other magazines. She directs the M.F.A. program at Goddard College.
