Roohi Choudhry grew up in Pakistan, southern Africa, and the Middle East and now lives in Brooklyn, N.Y. Her writing has appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Normal School, Callaloo, and The Rumpus, among other publications. A 2015-16 New York Foundation for the Arts fellow, she holds an MFA from the University of Michigan, and teaches and coaches creative writers.
